Job Description

• Responding to automated alarms generated by the SIEM System, investigating through to full completion.


• Reviewing and analysing data from the various security sub-systems, including Network IPS, Host IPS, Anti-virus, Firewalls, and Security Logs.


• Escalating significant or unusual security events for management ownership or review.


• Highlighting any unusual system anomalies or failures to on call or senior members of the security Intelligence team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in IT, IT security or monitoring highly desirable


• University degree in computer science, information technology


• Fluency in English (verbal and written)


• Ability to quickly learn high-level technical concepts


• Ability to use initiative and take control


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Forward thinking with a problem solving mentality
