Job Description
- Responding to automated alarms generated by the SIEM System, investigating through to full completion.
- Reviewing and analysing data from the various security sub-systems, including Network IPS, Host IPS, Anti-virus, Firewalls, and Security Logs.
- Escalating significant or unusual security events for management ownership or review.
- Highlighting any unusual system anomalies or failures to on call or senior members of the security Intelligence team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in IT, IT security or monitoring highly desirable
- University degree in computer science, information technology
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to quickly learn high-level technical concepts
- Ability to use initiative and take control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Forward thinking with a problem solving mentality
