As an IT Vendor Risk Manager you will mainly be responsible for managing, support and coordination of Global IT Vendor Risk Management process. It includes the managing and coordination of corrective actions for risk reduction.  Additionally tasks may include Information Security Management System process coordination, communication with IT Products and Security Department, IT Governance team in FESTO.

Your job:

  • Driving continuous improvement of IT Vendor Risk Management processes
  • Maintaining a documentation related to Vendor Risk, like vendor register, risk assessments, etc.
  • Day-to-day and recurring IT Vendor Risk Management tasks (operation, conception, reporting, monitoring and risk reduction)
  • Identifying potential operational risks related to vendor activities, as well as identifying opportunities for strengthening internal controls in critical vendor relationships
  • Maintenance of IT Vendor Risk management tools and systems.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience (~ 2 years)
  • Experience in identifying and managing Information Security and IT risks, incl. risk lifecycle
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel

Nice to have:

  • Experience as IT Auditor or Information Security Officer
  • Certification as an Information Security Officer or IT Auditor
  • Knowledge/Experience in related ISO standards (e.g. ISO 27000 series, ISO 31000)
  • Knowledge on ITIL
