Junior analyst

The position is for working in the research unit with extensive interest in global metals, mining and energy commodities and related equities. The newly added team member’s focus will be on fundamental analysis of various commodities.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performing timely research of assigned markets and companies;
• preparing quantitative supply - demand models and pricing forecasts for various commodities;
• Communicating with the management and customer.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• University degree (or last course student) in economics, finance, math, econometrics, statistics
• Genuine interest in global financial markets;
• Excellent analytical skills, stress tolerance, and self-confidence;
• Willingness and ability to learn quickly;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Experience in accounting and/or audit field is an advantage;
• Fluent English (oral and written), Chinese is an advantage.
