Junior Cyber Security Analyst

We are searching for a Cyber Security Specialist able to detect and manage cyber threats, analyze their nature, and build strategies to prevent breaches. Protecting databases from unauthorized access will help us maintain a safe environment for both the company and its clients.
You should find it interesting to:
- Monitor cyber attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
- Analyse security events within the SIEM
- Identify potential cyber security weaknesses and ways to eliminate them
- Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them
- Oversee identity and access management, including monitoring abuse of permissions by unauthorized users
- Cooperate with various teams across Bankera in relation to cyber security issues
- Give advice and guidance to staff on cyber security matters
- Stay up-to-date with cyber security practices
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of patch management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Familiarity with security frameworks and risk management methodologies
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
