Maintenance Inspector/ Pastatų priežiūros inspektorius (-ė )

Maintenance Inspector works within the Facilities Section assisting the Post Occupational Safety and Health Officer and the Safety Program Coordinator in carrying out the day-to-day functions of the Safety Health and Environmental Management, and Fire Protection programs within residences as required by regulations; assures that all Government Owned and Operating Leased Properties in country meet Departmental requirements which may exist. Serves as Maintenance Inspector by verifying and ensuring that Operating Leases and Government Owned housing units are in compliance with all Embassy Housing, Residential Building, Security, and Construction Codes. Performs Engineering/Architectural inspections of Operating Leases and Government Owned properties such as apartments, office, warehouses or storage spaces, workshops, residences etc.; including remodeling projects, construction work, and upgrades.

EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum three years' experience in the maintenance, trades inspection, or construction fields, which should include work experience in project management or quality control assurance inspections.

Education Requirements:

Minimum two years of university or college studies. 

LANGUAGE:

Good working knowledge of English (Reading/Writing/Speaking) is required. Fluent knowledge of Lithuanian (Reading/Writing/Speaking) is required. This may be tested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

A driver’s license is required.
