Maintenance Technician (Ireland)

We are presently seeking interest for a Maintenance Technician to join an established business within the construction industry. The company specializes in steel reinforcement and mesh demands and has experience working on large prestigious projects within the commercial, civil, and industrial sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Health and Safety Awareness at all times before during and after works have been completed
• Carrying out Method Statement and Risk assessment (MRSA) on planned, remedial and project works
• Assessing works and providing reports, quotations, and remedial recommendations with costs after the completion of reactive tasks/works•
• Liaising with management daily, weekly, and monthly to schedule works•
• Completing all paperwork and check sheets in a timely and appropriate manner
• Liaising with clients and technicians to ensure satisfactory outcomes to all works
• Implementing company policies and procedures
• Multi-Site Planned preventative maintenance of electrical systems and services
• Identifying items of plant and equipment that may pose a potential risk to electrical equipment uptime and report these in a clear, concise, and timely manner

• Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification with proven multi-disciplined skills
• Experience with Gantry Cranes, Hydraulic & Electrical Machinery 
• 3 years plus experience in a similar role
• Previous experience dealing with planned preventative maintenance and fault finding
• Have completed H&S training
• Ability to complete paperwork and reports to high standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic approach to work
• Ability to work professionally within client premises
• Full Clean driving license essential
• Good IT literacy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential
