Manufacturing Controller & SAP Key User

As a member of the local Finance & Controlling team, the position will act as a key link between Finance, Production, Operations, and Global SAP/IT. The role is expected to understand both the business and financial consequences of SAP production processes, as well as the SAP transactions and master data that drive those outcomes.
The position will provide local expertise and support for SAP-enabled manufacturing processes, while also ensuring that relevant controls, master data, and transactional processes are reliable, properly maintained, and regularly monitored.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Controlling & Financial Impact
• Own the Finance perspective of SAP manufacturing processes, including inventory, product costing, production orders, WIP, settlement, and production variances.
• Analyze production and inventory deviations, identifying the operational and SAP root causes behind financial results.
• Support month-end closing and ensure production-related financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
Production Orders, Settlement & Variance Control
• Monitor finished-product production orders through costing, confirmation, completion, and settlement.
• Analyze production variances and explain underlying drivers, including material consumption, labor, machine/activity costs, scrap, quantities, and production efficiency.
• Ensure that production-order controls are operating effectively
Master Data Governance, Audit & Reliability
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and reliability of cost-relevant manufacturing master data through regular audits and quality checks.
• Review and validate BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Material Master costing views, activity rates and other data impacting product costing and inventory valuation.

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing / production environment – must-have.
• Strong experience in Finance & Controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of SAP production processes and SAP transactions.
• Strong background in SAP Controlling (CO-PC, CO-OM) with deep functional integration into Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
• Experience with production orders, product costing, inventory, WIP and production variances.
• Experience with manufacturing master data, including BOMs, Routings, Work Centers and Material Master.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify SAP and operational root causes.
• Ability to work closely with Finance, Production, Operations and Global SAP/IT teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical SAP issues and their financial impact to business stakeholders.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
