A company in the maritime business sector based in Klaipėda, with many years of international experience, is inviting responsible and motivated professionals to join its team to work in ports and on ships around the world. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Work involves business trips AROUND THE WORLD, servicing ships in ports (regular flights, travel to various ports worldwide)MINIMUM PRACTICAL experience in technical, mechanical, or similar work is REQUIRED (no managerial experience)Initial training takes place in person in Klaipėda and is intensive.

We can provide accommodation during the training. 

WHEN YOU JOIN OUR TEAM: We will provide professional and certified training held in Klaipėda and at European ports, a thorough onboarding process, supportive mentoring, professional work tools, and uniforms, and we will ensure all social benefits.

WORK AFTER TRAINING: work on ASSIGNMENTS—in ports and on ships in Europe and America.

PROJECTS: The work is dynamic and fast-paced, with inspections conducted on various projects at ports outside of Lithuania. If you want to travel a lot while working, work with fire protection and rescue systems on the world’s largest ships, and take pride in ensuring SAFETY for crews and passengers on ships around the world—join us!

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection and maintenance of shipboard fire protection equipment and systemsInspection, maintenance, and minor repairs of ship lifeboats, rafts, and launching mechanisms
  • Completion of certificates, inspection reports, and other accompanying documentation on board ships
  • Work in Lithuania and foreign ports (Europe, America, Africa)

We expect You have:

  • You are an analytical thinker, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • You are able to make quick decisions, solve problems as they arise, and plan your work effectively
  • You are available for short-term 3-week business trips (50% of work abroad and 50% in Lithuania)
  • You have at least basic technical maintenance knowledge (mechanical/locksmith skills are a plus)
  • You are able to communicate and write in English (technical, working-level language)
  • You are able to navigate in foreign countries
  • You are proficient in using a computer and the Microsoft Office suite
  • You hold driver’s license (B category)
