Meat Processing Production Manager / Senior Meat Technologist

Location: Lielvārde, Latvia

SIA “Gaļas nams – Ādaži”, a Latvian food manufacturing company specializing in meat products, ready-to-cook products and convenience foods, is looking for an experienced and motivated Meat Processing Production Manager / Senior Meat Technologist to join our team.

We are seeking a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge of meat processing, production management and food safety standards.

• Manage and supervise daily meat processing operations.
• Organize production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity and product quality.
• Develop, improve and implement production technologies, recipes and technological processes.
• Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards (HACCP, BRC).
• Optimize raw material usage and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
• Coordinate and supervise production and packing teams (approximately 100 employees).
• Participate in new product development and implementation.

• Experience as a Food production manager or meat processing technologist, strong knowledge of meat processing technologies, production equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Experience in production planning, process optimization and team management.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.
• English or Russian language skills for professional communication.
