Media Streeming Engineer

• Support video capturing, encoding, streaming and recording infrastructure
• Install, set-up and test Audio/Video equipment
• Support video playback implementations on different platforms
• Research new video encoding and streaming technologies

Main requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline
• 5 + years of experience in IT field (IT network engineer, IT administrator or similar roles)
• Good English language skills – both written and spoken
• General understanding of audio/video data and it’s processing principles
• Analytical and problem solving skills

Nice to have‘s:

• Knowledge of media data compression standards (video/audio codecs)
• Knowledge of media data containers (flv, mp4) and transport protocols (RTMP, HTTP, WS)
• General understanding of network architecture (OSI)
• Familiarity with video capturing and processing hardware
• Knowledge of IPTV or equivalent
