Mid-Senior Data Engineer

You will make the best use of our data by modeling, creating, and maintaining our data management infrastructure.You will be looking for possible improvements and delivering business value by gathering raw data, processing it, analyzing, and presenting the results.

What will you Do:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions;
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, offering technical expertise and best practices;
• Develop and maintain complex SQL databases, data warehouses, and LookML projects;
• Visualize data effectively in Looker dashboards for stakeholders;
• Oversee data ingestion processes to ensure data is loaded accurately and on time;
• Proactively identify areas for improvement within the data ecosystem and implement solutions.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role, with a focus on architectural design and data solutions;
• Proficiency in testing, maintaining, and validating data to ensure data integrity and reliability;
• In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) with expertise in MySQL/MariaDB and data warehousing solutions like Google BigQuery;
• Familiarity with various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and their application in data integration processes;
• Proficient in utilizing 3rd party data sources and integrating them into the existing data ecosystem;
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis;
• Proven experience in creating and managing data pipelines and workflows;
• Proactive and self-driven with a willingness to take initiative and lead data projects.
