We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and help us oversee and execute package contracting operations within the supply and/or transport & installation domain, focusing particularly on substantial Tier 1 contracts valued at hundreds of millions of euros. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Initiating, managing, and elaborating on the Conditions of Contract with a focus on contract document elaboration and all contractual input and clarifications, supported by a Legal Counsel for compliant phrasing of contractual articles. Commercial and procurement topics and documents, as well as Request for Proposal/Invitation to Tender management, are overseen by a Senior Supply Chain Manager in coordination with the Senior Contract Manager
- Handling complete, package-related contractual document management and elaboration processes, including responsible management of all contractual clarification and deviation topics
- Working on the basis of the project's (purchase) governing model: Implement the contractual processes, requirements, tendering rules, reporting, and document handling standards
- Preparing for and participate in all package-related negotiations, leading all contractual negotiations in close coordination with the Work Package Manager
- Coordinating with the package-related Contract Manager, take the lead in the whole contractual document management/elaboration, including Contract (Agreement) and contractual Schedules.
Qualifications
- Degree in Contract Management (on basis of Project Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business Administration) or in Legal (with focus on management of major Contracts)
- 8 years previous experience in a senior or lead contract management position within offshore wind and within the respective package would be an advantage
- Long-term experience in the handling of contractual topics and negotiations for the contacts above 100M EUR (FIDIC, BIMCO and related)
- Experience in offshore wind development projects or supply chain business
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
