About the Job
In the TIA Services & Solutions organization we work with a 360° view of our customers, engaging in customer services, consulting services and TIA solutions. TIA uses Oracle technologies as a strategic framework for its insurance software. As an Oracle administrator, you will ensure by leveraging all available Oracle functionality, the TIA Solution provides insurers with a leading-edge software platform delivering data security, availability, connectivity, scalability and customizability.
Your tasks will include:
assisting in database design
updating and amending existing databases required for development, testing, training and production usage
setting up and testing new databases and data handling systems
monitoring database efficiency
installing and upgrading the database server and application tools
maintaining system security
backing up and restoring databases
contacting database vendor for technical support

Requirements
You understand the importance of data protection and have experience
with implementation and maintenance of standard solutions applying Agile
and waterfall methods. You can translate your knowledge into useful and
practical advice.
Your Oracle skills are excellent and you have a strong technical background
administrating Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware. A good
knowledge of Oracle security management. You also have a practical
experience working with system integrations. Your experience with TIA
solution is an absolute plus.
As a person, you are a team player, outgoing and able to conduct yourself
in a professional manner. You are flexible and adapt easily to different
environments and cultures.
You have 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database, SOA/Fusion
middleware and a relevant graduate degree – preferably a Master in
computer science or information systems. It is a requirement that you are
fluent in both written and spoken English.
