PHP developer

Right now, we are looking for a PHP Developer within Identity and Access Management area.
I am Anna Nordqvist and I am leading Workforce Identity and Access at Telia Company. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team. We have a lot of exciting challenges ahead and Telia is on a transformation journey with new technologies and new ways-of-working. Now we are looking for you who can participate on this journey and we are looking for someone with documented experiences of a developer with PHP skills.

Your next challenge?

You will be part of a team on a DevOps journey and the role is leaning towards Operational responsibility for development of one of our applications in the Identity and Access area. As a developer you will have a responsibility for supporting existing and the deployments of new functionalities. You will participate with your competence within several areas and support your work related to business, projects and production.

Tools used in day to day:

• You will be working with powerful in-house developed tool, which does a lot of good stuff.
• Your daily stack will be:
  • Symfony >4.* (PHP >7.4, MySQL >8.0)
  • Docker
  • Jenkins
  • PhpStorm
  • … few more to come

• Easy to communicate in speech and written language and enjoy sharing your experiences and knowledge.
• You enjoy working in a team and perform well when you work alone.
• You have a feeling for quality and analyzing and you prefer to work towards a goal.
• You are driven to work with our business and can understand their activity to make sure their environment stays stable.
• You are structured and good at documenting technical instructions.
• You are not afraid of complex things, you are customer focus oriented.
• You are brave to share ideas for improvement and not afraid to convert them into reality.

Your Experience:

• Deep experience of PHP programming with troubleshooting.
• Experience of Symfony (or another PHP framework).
• Knowledge of LAMP.
• You know what difference between REST and SOAP webservices.
• MySQL and/or MSSQL database experience.
• Experience with Apache.
• You know what deployment is.
• You know why tests are used for.
• Good experience in technical English.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Other advantage skills:

• Experience in operations of critical applications around Identity and Access Management.
• You have experience of Graylog or Splunk or any other logging and analyzing tools.
• Used to work in an agile context.
• You are aware how an Active Directory works, LDAP skills and have experience of Azure AD as well.
• Good knowledge about Telia and our core activity.
