Job Description

We’re looking for Product Managers to join Vinted Marketplace. You’ll own a key area, tackling meaningful problems for our business and members. In close partnership with teams across your domain and neighbouring areas, you’ll collaborate with Product Design, Product Analytics, and Engineering - while becoming part of Vinted’s highly driven, fast-moving product leadership group.

  • Drive and align the vision and product strategy for your ownership area.
  • Create and set team objectives for the short and long term.
  • Work with peers and stakeholders across functions and product teams to identify and prioritise opportunities to improve user experience, success metrics, and enabling capabilities.
  • Plan and oversee the product development cycle, and be accountable for delivering impactful, high-quality products.
  • Tackle complex product problems, conduct rigorous product discovery, and scope solutions with clear requirements and trade-off analysis.
  • Collaborate with Design and Research to identify and prioritise customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape; use insights to inform product strategy and feature development.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to manage product roadmaps and delivery planning, continuously executing the strategy and achieving agreed objectives.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics to set success criteria; define, track, and interpret product usage metrics; and iterate on A/B testing learnings and the process itself to ensure actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Evaluate technology considerations, make trade-off decisions, and assess and address technical risks.

Requirements

  • Understand all aspects of the product development lifecycle and balances product progress with tech debt.
  • Skilled at making data-driven decisions, incorporating data, research, and market analysis to drive improvements through actionable strategies and roadmaps.
  • Apply strategic frameworks that treat strategy as a hypothesis, enabling swift adaptation and recalibration when needed.
  • Uses agile methodologies to support iterative development, continuous releases, and the integration of customer feedback to improve product quality.
  • Connect user problems with business opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to articulate ideas, communicate trade-offs, and establish clear team frameworks.
  • Operate effectively at different levels of abstraction, translating complex concepts into actionable iterations.
  • Passionate about innovation that delivers member value and makes second-hand first choice, while staying adaptable and open to new challenges.
  • A fast learner and critical thinker with an open mindset.

Nice to have

  • Nice to have: Experience delivering across the full product lifecycle, including integrating user feedback, driving prioritisation, running hypothesis-based experiments, executing pre- and post-launch, and iterating.
