Product Owner/Software Project Manager

Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Owner to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development for safety products (mainly embedded devices). The ideal candidate will combine strong understanding of software development lifecycle with excellent collaboration and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams and ensure software is delivered on time, within scope, aligned with business objectives, and software documentation is in order.

You will be part of an international and collaborative Agile environment, working closely with stakeholders and development teams across Germany and Lithuania. The role includes regular travelling at least once per quarter for System Planning events and strategic workshops. Additional travel may occasionally be needed to support project and business objectives.

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals and stakeholders needs
• Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate requirements across multiple project teams
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
• Lead backlog refinement sessions and support sprint planning activities in close work software development team
• Facilitate / Define priorities for development teams and make informed trade-off decisions
• Contribute to product roadmap planning and execution
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and acceptance criteria
• Support testing and validation activities when required
• Lead software development from initiation to delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Define software release scope, timelines, deliverables, and required process documentation
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies within SW development
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure software quality standards and documentation are maintained
• Communicate status, updates, and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• If required, support development through mentoring, coaching, and performance guidance in collaboration with responsible Team Lead
• Collaborate with other product owners and business teams to align technical solutions with business goals
• If required, support analysis of customers complaints
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and delivery practices

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or experience in software development and project leadership
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proven experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing requirements
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to gathering, analyzing and reporting data
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams
• Familiarity with the following tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
