Job Description

• Ensuring a well-functioning production through day-to-day management and development of own departments, including that underlying managers exercise good management.


• Motivating employees to ensure a production environment that supports high quality and efficient production


• Ensuring the technical operation of the factory’s production equipment through preventive maintenance


• Project management regarding the introduction of new equipment and automation projects.


• Participation in cross-organizational tasks, such as strategic actions, quality focus group meeting, complaints work, etc.

Requirements

The ideal candidate profile:

• Relevant technical training, as an engineer or equivalent, is a requirement


• Solid technical and manager experience in leading a production


• Can produce continuous results


• Can lead, develop, and motivate the employees and ensure cross-organizational focus to the necessary support for the business.


• Solid experience with LEAN


• Good cooperation skills

Hands on experience:

• Several years of management experience of factory


• Experience in moving factory and starting the same, would be nice to have but not a must


• Good insight into metal and surface processing industry


• Experience in the management of hourly paid employees and organizational relations


• Broad insight and experience in optimizing resources both technically and on the manpower side of production


• Experience with Lean and Q&E Management
