As the Chief Technology Officer (Biotechnology) at Avodes, you will lead our biotechnology research, driving innovation and translating scientific discoveries into novel therapeutic for gynaecological health.

Biotechnology Strategy:

• Develop and implement the company's biotechnology strategy, in alignment with our overall business objectives and product development goals.
• Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments to develop and optimize the product for therapeutic applications in gynaecological healthcare.

Product Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate biotechnological innovations into viable product candidates, from conceptualization through preclinical and clinical development stages.
• Together with Chief Regulatory Officer ensure that biotechnological products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards for safety, efficacy, and manufacturability.

Collaborative Partnerships:

• Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners to access cutting-edge technologies, expertise, and resources.

• Masters or PhD or equivalent degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product research and development, with a focus on therapeutic applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similar industry.
• Deep expertise in biotechnological platforms and technologies.
• Experience in laboratory work - related to pharmaceutical processes or chemistry.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards for biotechnological products, including GMP, GLP guidelines preferable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving innovation and impact in women's healthcare through biotechnology.
