Project Manager

Planning, organizing and leading software development projects and delivering them to time and to budget within an Agile framework (DSDM) as well as engaging the relevant resources, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
• Working closely with internal clients and operational teams to understand their requirements;
• Managing, monitoring and motivating the cross functional teams assigned to the project;
• Developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the projects delivery;
• Creating and executing realistic and achievable project plans;
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project;
• Preparing project communications to keep stakeholders up-to-date with progress;
• Conducting project presentations and compiling reports;
• Evaluating risks and developing strategies to overcome project obstacles;
• Identifying and implementing appropriate quality standards to ensure project quality;
• Ensuring the project knowledgebase is captured, current and stored appropriately;
• Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion;
• Managing requests for change, ensuring the project deliverables and timelines are not adversely affected;
• Liaising with Development teams to coordinate change, building, testing and implementation;
• Ensuring Post-rollout reviews take place and feedback loop followed.

• Project Management experience in software development projects;
• Awareness and appreciation of Agile project management experience;
• Actual DSDM Experience or similar agile experience a distinct advantage;
• Good English skills;
• Demonstrable experience of managing financial information and controlling costs;
• Project and tasks management across a matrix management environment;
• Ability to lead and develop a team as well as process improvements;
• Results driven, forward thinking personality with a problem solving mentality.
