Job Description

Position Summary: The Project Manager at LCC International University mainly will lead the projects management and administration for LCC’s EU funded projects. The duties will involve coordination of the projects; monitoring the progress, budget management. The Project Manager will deliver projects according to the relevant EU requirements. The Project Manager is expected to display considerable independence in identifying and complying with the appropriate EU regulations. The Project Manager will also contribute to development and submission of the new LCC EU projects, and to the wider work of LCC financial office. Overview of LCC’s current EU funded projects Coordinator: Creating a Business Professional Development Program “What is more important: strategy development or its implementation”; Partner: Integration of Intercultural Volunteering for Non EU Citizens at LCC; Partner: Study in Lithuania; Duties and Responsibilities EU projects related duties and responsibilities: Deliver successful, well managed projects that meet their objectives; Develop guidelines and information packs for project partners on administrative issues; Monitor closely progress against deadlines, towards deliverables and to meet projects work plan objectives; Manage projects budgets including: Taking responsibility for collecting and checking all financial data; Monitoring projects’ expenditures; Preparing and implementing projects’ procurement procedures; Preparing projects’ expenditures documentations and submitting them to EU agencies as well as LCC financial office; Preparing financial reports; Ensuring timely payments to projects’ suppliers; Prepare projects reports for EU agencies; Manage and administer LCC projects’ data management service (DMS): Prepare projects’ progress reports using DMS; Input projects outcomes into DMS; Prepare after projects reports using DMS; Maintain close and effective communication with projects partners and EU agencies; Assist other LCC EU grant writers; Other duties and responsibilities: Assist with ongoing business affairs, agreements/contracts and insurance; Prepare reports for LCC internal projects; Assist the finance office in regular reports preparations; Work with existing and new auxiliary operations; Other projects/activities as assigned; Relationships: Reports to: LCC Chief Operating Officer Works closely with: Finance Office staff and other administrative staff and faculty,

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business administration.
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
The position demands competence in
Organization, particularly in meeting deadlines, attention to detail and coordination
Financial management
Communication
Knowledge in funding requirements and rules relating to EU projects
Personal: Ability to work independently according to deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
