We are looking for a QA Team Lead to own our quality strategy, lead the QA team, strengthen test automation, and help us build a modern, AI-assisted approach to Quality Assurance.

This role is not just about finding bugs. We want someone who can prevent issues, identify risks earlier, automate repetitive work, and continuously improve how quality is built into our development process.

• Own and continuously improve our QA strategy, processes, standards, and tooling;
• Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team;
• Build a risk-based testing approach for business-critical areas such as checkout, payments, funnels, integrations, and new brand launches;
• Own and evolve our test automation strategy, increasing coverage while reducing repetitive manual testing;
• Define the right balance between manual, automated, API, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing;
• Drive AI-first Quality Assurance, identifying opportunities to automate or improve QA activities using AI;
• Experiment with AI for requirements analysis, test generation, test data, regression optimization, and defect analysis;
• Work closely with Developers and Product/Project Managers to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle;
• Define meaningful quality metrics and KPIs, analyze production incidents, and turn learnings into improvements;
• Promote a culture where quality is a shared responsibility across the entire Delivery team.

What success looks like:

Success in this role is not measured by how many bugs the QA team finds. It means fewer critical production issues, faster and safer releases, stronger automation, less repetitive manual testing, earlier risk detection, and increasing use of AI to make QA more effective.

Ultimately, you will help us evolve QA from a traditional testing function into modern Quality Engineering — using automation, data, and AI to help us move faster without sacrificing quality.

• Proven experience leading a QA team and owning QA processes;
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing;
• Experience building or leading a test automation strategy;
• Strong knowledge of web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing;
• Ability to decide what should be automated and where testing creates the most business value;
• Experience with modern QA tools and CI/CD environments;
• Strong interest in practical AI applications within software testing and QA;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with frequent releases and changing priorities;
• Strong ownership mindset and drive for continuous improvement.
