Quality Assurance Manager (safety products and innovations)

Job Description

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality department.
  • Be a leader for quality controllers - plan and organize effective work of the team, ensure development, well-being, and motivated atmosphere.
  • Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality system (raw materials, products).
  • Investigate, analyse the quality issues, find solutions, ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
  • Prepare and manage quality and technical documentation.
  • Be a functional expert in developing and implementing new products to production.
  • Perform internal and participate in external audits.
  • Participate in processes optimization using Lean tools and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Leadership, strategy development and management skills.
  • Proven experience in quality and team management in a manufacturing company.
  • Deep understanding of Quality Risk Management, Good Manufacturing Practices, the systems (ISO 9001 (required) and IATF (would be an advantage)), processes, procedures, and basics in engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organisational, interpersonal, conflict management and communication skills.
  • Passion for driving positive changes in system, processes, and culture.
  • Fluent English (written & spoken).
  • LEAN and 5S (would be an advantage).
  • Ability to travel
