As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with International accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

Managing and coordinating the month-end and year-end close processes
Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and Latvian accounting standards
Implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Collaborating with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings
Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
Ensuring compliance with Latvian tax regulations and reporting requirements
Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions
Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and tax authorities
Maintaining accounting records

Šiai pozicijai svarbu:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience (GL or IFRS16 or Fixed assets)
Advanced proficiency in accounting software
Knowledge of IFRS and Latvian accounting standards
Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
Familiarity with Latvian tax regulations and reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Fluency in Latvian and English both written and spoken (as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners)
