As Senior Backend Engineer in the Vinted Go Network domain, you will build backend systems that help connect Vinted members, carrier partners, and pick-up/drop-off locations across a growing logistics network.
You’ll join Vinted Go, the logistics arm of Vinted, focused on making shipping more affordable, convenient, and reliable. The Network domain works on the foundations that make domestic and cross-border shipping possible: carrier integrations, route configurations, partner-facing workflows, tracking, service availability, and the systems that support new shipping products and services at scale.
You’ll work in a cross-functional, autonomous team with product managers, designers, backend and frontend engineers, quality engineers, and data colleagues. You’ll own work from design through production, make pragmatic technical decisions, and help evolve reliable backend services that support Vinted Go’s expanding network across markets.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Own technical initiatives end to end, from problem framing and system design through delivery, monitoring, and iteration.
- Develop business logic and platform capabilities that help partners manage inventory, orders, and operations at scale.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Decision Science, and other engineers to shape discovery, sequencing, and implementation.
- Work with a diverse backend stack, such as Ruby, Go, AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and observability tools; you do not need to know all of it upfront.
- Write unit tests, contribute to integration and end-to-end testing, and keep quality high through code reviews and thoughtful feedback.
- Take ownership of service reliability, alerts, metrics, and incident follow-up, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve your development workflow and help the team move faster.
