Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join UDS as one of the first members of a newly forming commercial team.

This role is suited for a senior professional with strong industry understanding and an established network within defense, government, or related sectors. You will play a critical role in opening doors, building strategic relationships, and supporting international growth. 

Direct sales experience is valuable, but equally important is your ability to navigate complex environments, build trust, and create access to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with government institutions, defense organizations, and strategic partners.
  • Drive business development initiatives across international markets.
  • Leverage existing network and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities.
  • Establish and develop partnerships and distribution channels.
  • Represent the company in high-level meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to commercial strategy and go-to-market approach.
  • Support navigation of public procurement and institutional sales processes.
  • Facilitate market entry and help build long-term commercial presence.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within defense, aerospace, security, drones, or related sectors.
  • Established network and deep understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Experience working with government institutions or public-sector environments.
  • Ability to build trust and operate at a senior stakeholder level.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus).
  • High level of professionalism, credibility, and integrity.
  • Direct sales or business development experience would be considered an advantage.
