SENIOR CORPORATE LAWYER (F/M/D) I IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a colleague who would join our experienced team of renewables professionals, fill the role of senior lawyer and contribute to the strategic transactions shaping the energy sector. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• Corporate housekeeping of Ignitis renewables group: 23 SPVs in 4 jurisdictions (Baltics and Poland) currently, with a plan to expand further
• Provide legal support in transaction execution with M&A transactions and post M&A integration, participate in negotiations along investment teams
• Serve as a legal consultant in corporate law matters of Ignitis Renewables in Lithuania, drafting decisions and company incorporation documents thereof, organizing corporate set-up and maintenance of subsidiaries in Poland, Estonia and Latvia and possibly other markets
• Drafting internal legal acts, assessing draft documents prepared by other departments, advising staff on the application of external and internal legislation within the scope of its competence
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation (NDAs, MoUs, LoIs, exclusivity agreements etc.) to be in conformity with laws
• Provide legal counselling and assistance to business teams with KYC & other compliance processes, vendor’s and other legal due diligence, data collection and structuring, running VDRs. 

• Have higher education degree in law (master‘s degree)
• Have 3+ years of professional post-qualification experience in-house or in a law firm in respective areas of expertise (experience with group companies would be an asset)
• Are well aware of Lithuanian company & contract law and familiar with corporate governance frameworks
• Are client-oriented, proactive, and willing to always find solutions
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people across various organizational units, different backgrounds and cultures
• Have excellent proficiency in English and Lithuanian languages (both spoken and written).
