Senior DevOps Engineer

You will work in the IT team of 7 IT members (Product Owner, 3 back-end devs, 2 front-end dev, and SysAdmin). As the 8th member of the IT team, you will have a big ownership level in your role.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be a part of our IT team consisting of front-end and back-end developers, QA engineer and a system administrator. You will have the freedom of choice and resources available to select the components and evolve our technology stack as you best see fit. Your main task will be the development and maintenance of our CI/CD stack which currently runs on Google Cloud.

Your tasks will be:

• Providing good lead times
• Ensuring high service availability. Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
• Optimisation of resources by working together with our development team
• Constantly improve infrastructure development and application development

• High school degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
• Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud, Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies
• Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Get things done attitude
