Job Description

Join an international team developing embedded software solutions for firefighter protection and associated equipment. This critical equipment is designed to monitor and support fire brigades during emergencies, enable remote monitoring, and ultimately save lives in situations involving fires, structural collapses, or hazardous gas exposure.

You'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in afocused technical domain while contributing to the advancement of both the project and your own professional growth.

It would involve work on embedded software development, new features creation, and providing support across a large-scale firefighter safety project portfolio.

Requirements

Proficiency in C++ and RTOS environments
Experience with microcontrollers for low power applications (Microchip ATSAML, ATTINY, TI MSP, Renesas RX family, ST STM32, or similar)
Understanding of bootloader and firmware update methodologies
Experience with debugging, fault finding and logging, and fail-safe design
Experience with code reviews, including providing and receiving feedback, as well as maintaining code quality by ensuring software verification and validation

Nice to have

Experience with Linux and C is a plus
Experience in developing Battery Management Systems for Lithium-based batteries is a plus
Experience with CAN, UART protocols for BMS/gauge/charger communication is a plus
Fluency in English, both in written and spoken

Gross salary in a range of 5200-6300 EUR (based on competency levels in accordance with the company's internal salary policy)
