Senior QA Test Analyst

As a Senior QA Test Analyst 6 Automation reporting to Senior Director , you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software integrations across Nasdaq's product ecosystem.

• Design, execute, and maintain test strategies and test cases across integrated systems, including solutions hosted on AWS
• Drive integration and end-to-end testing across multiple products and platforms
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle
• Identify, analyze, and track defects through to resolution
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable releases
• Support test data creation and management, including flexible and data-driven test scenarios
• Participate early in requirement analysis and design discussions to ensure testability and quality from the start
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and ways of working

• Solid experience in software quality assurance, including test design and execution in complex systems
• Hands-on experience with test automation and modern QA practices (e.g., CI/CD, shift-left testing)
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, or similar)
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and integration testing.

• Experience working with integration testing across distributed systems or microservices
• Experience in financial services, trading, clearing, or post-trade systems
• Experience applying AI or GenAI in a QA/testing context (e.g., test case generation, data generation, exploratory testing support)
• Interest in advancing AI-driven approaches within quality engineering
