Senior Technologist

We are recruiting for a Technologist to work within the production team, based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

• Cell culturing in tissue culture flasks, produce the product by infecting cells with live virus (risk class 2). Opportunity to participate in a new project 
• Testing methods: cell viability and recovery, Microscopic inspection to evaluate appearance of culture and cell morphology, cytopathic effect.
• Qualification, transfer or validation of analytical methods.

• At least 2 years of experience working with tissue cultures and live viruses
• College or university education (bioengineering, biochemistry, biology, chemistry or biotechnology);
• Positive thinking, diligence, responsibility, honesty, dutiful;
• Good documentation skills and practice;
• Ability to work in team;
• Seeking to gain new skills, continuous improvement;
• Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English (speaking and writing).

• Salary range of 2000 - 2500 Euro gross monthly
• Experience of work with biological methods;
• Experience with laboratory equipment: light field microscope, automatic cell counter.
• Experience with qPCR, luminescence/fluorescence methods, experience in assessing cytopathic effect.
• Work in GMP environment skills.
