Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) - AI Programs, Vinted Engineering

Vinted, UAB
6233 - 9100 €/m Gross
Occasional remote work possibility

Job Description

Vinted Engineering is building an AI platform, and we need a Sr. TPM to own it. AI tools are already in the hands of our engineers. Early signals are strong. What doesn't yet exist is a platform: a coherent, managed foundation that connects tooling, workflows, and measurement that every team can rely on.

This role exists to build that. You'll set the strategy, influence the roadmap, drive delivery, and make AI impact visible through metrics that matter to the business - not vanity numbers. You'll work closely with engineering leadership, influence direction at the executive level, and be accountable for results.

If you want to build from scratch, own outcomes, and see your work become the foundation others build on - this is the role.

  • Own the cross-Engineering AI adoption strategy - setting outcome targets, building alignment across domains, and driving accountability for results
  • Define and build the measurement framework that makes AI impact visible - determining what to measure, making it visible and broadly understood across the organization, and using it to drive decisions
  • Lead the delivery of an AI toolset, including standardized, pre-configured, and integrated into daily workflows, and run structured, data-driven trials to evaluate new tools with clear go/no-go criteria
  • Work with engineering leaders across domains to move AI from optional to expected - PRs without AI assistance should be the exception, not the norm
  • Ensure the platform is reliable and safe to scale by removing adoption blockers, setting code quality guardrails with Staff Engineers, and owning compliance and security
  • Manage a portfolio of AI initiatives simultaneously, balancing pace and quality, and escalating risks and trade-offs clearly to leadership

Requirements

  • Significant senior-level experience in technical program or project management, with a track record of owning complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end.
  • Software engineering or engineering management experience that gives you genuine technical credibility with the teams you'll work with
  • A degree in computer science, software development, engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor) and LLM-based workflows — you understand what they can and can't do in a real engineering environment
  • A genuine bias for outcomes over outputs: you set success metrics before you start and measure relentlessly
  • Proven track record of driving large, cross-functional programs to measurable results in fast-moving, complex organizations
  • Comfortable leading in ambiguity and building the playbook, not just following one - this domain is new, and the mandate is broad
  • Strong ability to drive accountability across teams without direct authority, including at domain and engineering leadership levels
  • Excellent communication skills - you can translate complex technical and data-driven narratives clearly for both engineering and executive audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience with developer productivity metrics (DORA metrics or similar) is a strong plus
