TRANSPORT/LOGISTIC COORDINATOR (Operations)

On behalf of our client - a leading Scandinavian logistics company - we are currently looking for three Transport Coordinators to join their growing operations team in Lithuania.

Key Responsibilities:

We are hiring for three distinct Driver Coordinator roles: Technical Follow-up, Resource Planning, and Driver Change/Rotation. While each role has specific responsibilities, all positions share the following:

Common Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations, including schedules and driver activities, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Collaborate closely with transport managers and dispatchers to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle operational issues and respond promptly to unexpected situations, always prioritizing safety.
• Ensure data accuracy and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Technical Follow-up:

• Monitor key performance indicators (driving&rest time, fuel consumption, driving behavior) with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
• Communicate with drivers in case of deviations and ensure corrective actions.

 Resource planning:

• Maintain an overview of active drivers and ensure sufficient capacity for operations.
• Plan driver recourses and ensure efficient scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with dispatchers and transport manager.

 Driver Change/Rotation:

• Plan driver rotations an manage shift schedules, including weekend breaks.
• Coordinate return transport for drivers and the arrival of new drivers.
• Ensure driver punctuality through follow-up and adherence to procedures.

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a similar administrative/coordination role
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Russian language skills sufficient for day-to-day communication with drivers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong sense of responsibility, structured thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with drivers
• Ability to learn and work efficiently with transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office.
