Upper School Math / IB Math Teacher

Contract Type: Permanent contract; full time

Contract Starts: August 18, 2025

Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics to students in Grades 8–12.
• Deliver the IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (AI) Standard Level (SL) curriculum for DP1 and DP2 students.
• Foster mathematical thinking through: modeling, inquiry-based problem solving, real-world applications, effective use of digital tools.
• Prepare students for both internal and external IB assessments.
• Develop students’ analytical skills and promote a love for mathematics.
• Use project-based, inquiry, and experiential learning methods.
• Foster mentoring relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
• Contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced academic environment that emphasizes excellence and innovation in teaching.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience teaching students in Grades 8-12.
• Demonstrated experience delivering the IB Mathematics: AI SL curriculum.
• Familiarity with IBDP internal and external assessment requirements.
• Strong ability to develop students’ analytical, collaborative, and reflective skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic school setting.
• Commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.
• Preferred: Experience with the IB English curriculum.

• Salary range: 2400–3500 EUR per month (before taxes), depending on experience and degree qualifications.
