Vice President - Crisis Management

About the Team & Business Line The Crisis Management team supports Citco's preparedness and response to events affecting its operations or staff at a global, regional or local level. The team is responsible for maintaining and improving existing Crisis Management procedures and tools, as well as developing new program tools and templates. The team also supports Crisis Management programs and activities related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. You Role as Vice President - Crisis Management (VP):

• support Head of Crisis Management with implementation of global Crisis Management programs and priorities and ensure that local Crisis Management teams are supported and effective.
• support the administration of our global Emergency communication tool, Onsolve, used by the Enterprise Resilience team and all BCP Coordinators worldwide. This includes tracking and reporting usage metrics, building and maintaining scenario templates, managing groups lists and working with the vendor on any open tickets or enhancements.
• be responsible for the administration of Crisis 24, our emergency alerting system, used by the Enterprise Resilience team, Group Risk Management team, and BCP Coordinators globally including monitoring Crisis24 alerts for offices in all regions where Citco has a presence (APAC, EMEA, NA), with specific monitoring APAC and EMEA during their business hours.
• refining the use of Crisis 24 notifications and training users on how to optimize use of the tool, including building awareness with their local Crisis Management Teams.
• suggest and implement changes to, and tracks versioning of, the Crisis Management Policy, Plan and program deliverables.
• implement changes and update to Crisis Management program reporting and metrics. This should include metrics on readiness, testing, and crisis event reporting.
• support the Crisis Management manager during regional or global events that impact Citco (meeting minutes and follow-ups, information gathering and summaries, etc.).
• collaborate with BCP and DR Teams closely to understand plans for business operations and systems in the event of outages, aligning this to Crisis Management procedures where necessary/applicable.
• track Crisis Management program calendar and documents milestones, meetings, testing and other deliverable dates.
• contribute to global Enterprise Resilience training development and rollout.
• contribute to major program milestones, such as DR tests, with the rest of the Enterprise Resilience team. May require 3-4 Saturdays a year.
• assist with development of projects and programs to improve BCM compliance for the company. May complete similar tasks for vendor continuity.
• review and update to CM templates and documentation and develop of Standard Operating Procedures.
• maintain and update of CM documents on the Enterprise Resilience SharePoint portals including data archival.

This position may require long hours including nights, weekends and holidays should a crisis event be experienced. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

• have a background in Crisis Management and 2+ years’ experience in a Crisis Management position for a global company.
• have Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery experience.
• are recognized for your sound decision-making skills and have complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• are reliable outside of regular business hours to participate/coordinate response to a crisis event.
• have familiarity with ISO 22301; experience going through certification a plus.
• have an understanding of IT concepts and general technologies.
• have experience using SalesForce platform and/or OnSolve and/or Crisis 24 and/or Fusion Risk Management and/or BCP software (a plus).
• have excellent communication and documentation skills (including ability to lead executive level meetings in a professional and organized manner).
• have Project Management Experience and Skills: organized and able to keep track of many tasks at one time, able to prioritize work according to deadlines.
• have availability and willingness to travel occasionally for business.
• have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Crisis/Emergency Management certification a plus.
