Job Description

DUTIES:

Subject is the primary assistant handling applications for immigrant visa services. Evaluates and responds to a wide range of immigrant visa applications and inquiries from various stakeholders, using a broad knowledge set of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and policies. Has customer-facing responsibilities and should provide excellent customer service as a front-line representative of the United States government and is the primary subject matter expert on the U.S. immigration system in Lithuania, and is expected to perform public outreach explaining policies and dispelling misconceptions.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of three years of experience involving customer service and the application of legal and regulatory material, preferably in an area related to migration, citizenship, or consular services.

 

Education Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of post-secondary education is required.

 

LANGUAGE:

  • Fluent knowledge of English and Lithuanian (Speaking/Reading/Writing) is required. Good working knowledge (Speaking/Reading/Writing) of Russian is required. This may be tested.
