Job Description
We have an open position for software development engineer who will be a part of Scrum team and will be developing software based on customer requirements using Java based Oracle ADF technology. You will be coding new features and modules using best practices and standards, as well will be reviewing code produced by your peers. Together with the Product Owner and other colleague’s you will ensure that produced software is well designed and coded, as well released in a predictable way and with the right quality.
Your work assignments:
- Participate in design meetings and discussion with Product Owners, software development and test engineers
- Develop new features and contribute to expanding the standard TIA functionality using Java EE, JSF ADF, Velocity, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JAXB, Maven, Git, Svn, Oracle DB technologies
- Contribute to performance optimization
- Contribute to maintaining and adjusting the existing solution
- Carry out code inspection of our peers
- Participate in daily SCRUM meetings and processes
- Contribute to team documentation and artifacts
- Contribute to best practices and Engineering Excellence within development

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer/Software Engineering degree, or similar education
- Have two or more years working experience as a software developer
- Experienced in Java development for enterprise applications
- Experience with SOAP, ADF, REST services would be an advantage
- Experience with enterprise applications performance optimization would be an advantage
- Experience working within the Oracle ADF and knowledge of PL/SQL would be an advantage
- Experience working with agile methodologies in SCRUM teams or similar would be an advantage
- Experience working with TIA or other insurance applications would be an advantage
- Good collaboration skills with colleagues across countries, cultures and languages
- Good English knowledge, spoken as well as in writing
