Job Description

• Translate brand strategy into brand experiences and go-to-market plans
• Develop and implement marketing and advertising activities consistent with the company’s brand strategy
• Work with managers to align the company and its products, services, and communications to the brand strategy
• Manage the creation of brand experiences around the company’s products (including packaging and merchandising)
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against goals
• Analyze how the company’s brand is positioned in the market and crystalise insights into target audience(s)
• Monitor consumer reactions and market trends, and research markets and competitors to identify opportunities and key issues
• Maintain contact with vendors to keep them informed and gather useful input
• Craft and deliver presentations to vendors about the company’s brand and products
• Work closely with brand consultants on brand development

Requirements

The ideal candidate:
• Has proven brand management and/or marketing experience
• Is able to motivate and lead colleagues in a non-hierarchical organisational structure
• Is creative, communicative, and well-organised
• Is personable and self-directed
• Is strategic and practical
• Has experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate them
• Is able to analyse data and metrics, draw useful conclusions, and present them to colleagues and managers
• Is up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices
• Has excellent command of the English language
