Chief Accountant

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant located in Vilniaus, Lithuania. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for month-end and year-end closing procedures, tax reporting, cost control, supervision of accountants in other countries (Latvia, Poland), and overall accounting activities.

• Perform day-to-day general accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and general ledger maintenance.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policies.
• Payroll calculation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate month closing.
• Manage local Junior Accountants and supervise external accounting companies in Latvia and Poland.
• Prepare internal and external reports, statistical reports and tax compliance processes (including but not limited to VAT, internal and external audits)
• Manage and improve the accounting processes, from recording primary documents to presenting financial statements.
• Other accounting tasks.

• At least 3 years of experience in full accounting
• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Solution-oriented, problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software "Rivile" is a plus
• Experience in a production company is a plus
