Job Description

You will be a trusted and strategic business advisor to the CEO, working in partnership with the executive leadership team and investors to propel the organization forward through a combination of financial and business acumen. Accountabilities include managing fund raising activities, building bullet proof-financial modeling, advising on international expansion, as well as reporting to investment funds and monitor cash positions. In order to succeed you have to possess critical thinking and grit, be a geeky excel master, and thrive in a fast-paced growing start up environment.

 

- Manage the due diligence and financial planning required to attract new investors
- Carry out planning, formation, forecasting and budget execution for 18-24 months
- Manage expenditures and monitor and forecast cash position, plan funding rounds before reaching product-market fit / significant POCs / enough market traction / breakeven / etc., for series A round / M&A roadshow / etc.
- Direct the timely submission of all financial data associated reports required by government and other regulated agencies
- Identify and reporting undesirable trends and potential business opportunities and making recommendations for action
- Prepare the statistical reports, budgets, and financial reports
- Monitor financial and economic information to identify trends and indicators that may impact business operations, planning, investments, and so forth.
- Communicate financial operational performance with all stakeholders and C-level management
- Ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the business
- Define a data analysis-based strategy for our go-to-market plans

Requirements

- Experience in this or similar position in a fast-paced growing start up, preferably in the field of financial technologies;
- Proven track record experience in fund raising activities
- Experience in building and substantiating bullet-proof financial modeling to the existing investors
- Experience in reporting to VC funds
- Knowledge of financial performance planning, budgeting, analyzing and assessing for 18-24 months
- Knowledge of financial management accounting systems and implementation of accounting policies in the company
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Effectively bilingual (Lithuanian and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
