Controller – Expenses Technical Department

The Controller – Technical Department position is accountable for the accounting operations of the Technical department, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with international financial reporting standards.

You will be expected to:
• Compare Airplane defects list with actual expenses invoices.
• Create and maintain a system of Airplane Maintenance Invoices tracking.
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures for Technical department in the Company.
• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
• Reconcile periodically bank and invoices details
• Proactively initiate information gathering on airplane maintenance expenses.
• Forecast and budget maintenance expenses for airplanes.
• Create and run monthly reports on maintenance expenses in the company.

• Bachelor’s degree - preferable in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering
• Min 2-3 years relevant experience – preferable Finance or Aviation;
• Good command of English language;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff;
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
• Able to work independently and highly meticulous.

Preferable qualifications:
• Experience in Aviation Finance is an advantage.
