Job Description

We're now looking for a Country Manager who’ll be responsible for Benify’s new office in Vilnius. The focus area for Vilnius will be to set up and maintain operational parts for our global markets. We're heading for world domination. Do you want to join us on the journey?

Your main responsibility is to build an operational department in Vilnius and ensure that the new team deliver with high quality. The operational department will include functional areas like Content Management, Transactions and Customer Service. In the beginning the focus will be to find the right people, set up the new office space and set the road map together with Swedish functional managers for how the daily operations will run from Vilnius. This means that people management is a strong focus in this position and you will, for example, conduct management and team meetings.

Other examples of work tasks are:

  • Leading recruitments and hiring the right talents for the company’s continuous expansion
  • Considering and maintaining the organizational culture at your local office
  • Supporting your employees and the different functions in various matters
  • Cooperating with different stakeholders within the company in order to solve various issues and to meet customers’ needs
  • Supervising strategy and budget fulfillment

The company expects you to deliver good office results, satisfied and happy clients and a well-functioning operational department. You’re also expected to lead by example and hands-on contribute to the success of the team. Another important aspect is to motivate your team and create a winning culture with happy employees.

This position is located in Vilnius but travel will be required to Benify’s HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. You will have the daily responsibility for the office and work closely with the functional managers from each department. 

Requirements

You are an experienced leader from an operative environment. Building relations and cooperating with others is something that comes naturally to you, as well as standing up for your opinion when needed. You have a strong business focus with a warm heart. You are used to an international organization. As a person you are positive, extrovert and outgoing, people often comes to you for guidance. To succeed in this position, you need to take great responsibility for the local office in Vilnius, both when it comes to finding the right people, motivate the team and take care of all business related tasks.

We also want you to:

  • Have experience in recruitment (we expect Vilnius to be our third biggest office in 2019)
  • Have worked in a start-up company and understand the challenges and opportunities it brings (desirable but not required)
  • Have good leadership skills and the ability to motivate your employees
  • An IT interest and preferably be familiar with the software industry: we provide our customers with a highly tailored web solution. It’s a complex product and it’s facilitating with a good understanding of IT
  • Be able to switch focus from the bigger picture to details: every day you will have to support your employees in different functional areas (e.g. Content Management, Transactions, Customer Service) as well as making strategic decisions on a higher level
  • Have a university degree within Human Resources, Business or equal. Or have at least three years relevant work experience
  • Master English fluently, both written and oral
  • Understanding Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement. Knowledge of French or German is a great plus, but not a must
  • Benify is working on a challenging market with a complex environment and we're expected to deliver results of good quality. Working towards these goals requires drive and a hands-on mentality, where you do what it takes to deliver results
