Job Description

Would you like to be a part of a start-up team within a bank?

Before you say that start-ups and banks don’t happen together – challenge us to prove otherwise. In return we will challenge you join the team in to Vilnius, Lithuania that made it happen in Denmark.
You must have heard of DGITL (Danske Group IT Lithuania), a new IT site established a year ago to contribute to one of the leading banks in Northern Europe. We have grown to 350 IT professionals in less than a year.

The Team

Mobile Life is an incubator within Danske Bank. Our purpose is to disrupt traditional banking and deliver innovative mobile solutions directly to our banking customers. We work with some of the most innovative and advanced technologies. We are organized in small teams with full-stack developers in very close contact with our direct business reference. We are 60 dedicated people based in Copenhagen, now extending into Vilnius.
The size of the team in Vilnius is initially expected to be 8-12 people but it really depends on the ability to recruit the right people rather than the number.

The Mindset

Becoming part of our team is a unique opportunity to work in a set-up characterized by start-up culture, high pace and flat hierarchy and with an overarching customer-focused approach. We expect you together with us, to continue to build an organization where the boarders are invisible, and the differences are strength.

The Projects

We are not a traditional organisation in the sense of having a clear roadmap and hence the team will not be a traditional development team with a defined system to own. We will go and revolutionise any banking area wherever the customers take us. We have started with Sunday.dk which serves as entry portal for current and future services.

Your Role

A big part of your job will be to develop, refine and implement models (ranging from logical to statistical) to support the ultimate user journey. Your daily work will be in close corporation with colleagues both in Copenhagen and Vilnius.
As an Analyst you can be involved in the entire process from taking ideas from scratch and make a first version of a model through development, coding and technical implementation. You will also be working with existing models that need to be recoded into new setups.
You will have a very high degree of influence on your own working day. We expect you to deliver results and new inspiration rather than living up to formal requirements.
In the beginning of the job you are expected to stay in Denmark for some periods to establish relations within the MobileLife people. After that we expect a more extensive use of collaboration tools, video conferences etc. but some travelling to Denmark is expected.

Requirements

What is it that you bring to the role?

Modeling experience your background can be either fresh out of university or some years of experience with modeling or predictive analytics – either from the financial sector or other industries. This could be both credit modeling and customer insight. You have solid experience with SAS, R, Statistica or similar platforms and you are fluent in English.

On a more personal level you are a self-driven and independent individual who takes responsibility for your deliverables. You are good a seeing opportunities and are able to work under assumptions in a changing environment. You thrive from working in cross competency and cross background teams and are able to communicate your work with the models in a non-technical way you feel comfortable working in a slim and agile organization with the mandate to move fast, fail fast and do things differently.
