IT Support Specialist

For the client with the office in Vilnius, Lithuania we are looking for desktop engineer in their office for business hours. The role is intended to serve end users at that office with normal business application support. Single office in Vilnius supporting about 40 users. This office is expected to grow to 200 by end of 2023.  There are 2 other smaller offices that this person can support remotely as well (London and Cork).

This is full-time, on-site job (Vilnius office).

We prefer a freelance contract (B2B).

• Proficiency in computer operating systems, such as MS Windows
• Good understanding of computer equipment, including laptops, servers, printers, and routers.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Working knowledge of physical and virtual servers for supporting business applications
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, ports, etc)
• Prior experience with a ticket tool, ServiceNow preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level)
• At least 3 years of experience as a computer technician or in a similar role
