End User IT Support Specialist

End User IT Support Specialist will assist in delivery of IT tasks of a major project setting up a new office in Vilnius for 500 users and cooperate with the local IT team, regional and in-country management.

• Rollout of all end user hardware for the new office such as laptops, thin clients, printers, phones etc.
• Communicate face to face with users on a regular basis to identify any IT issues
• Provide basic instructions to users on how to use computer application, hardware and mobile devices
• Provide smart hands support for all other IT Infrastructure such as network or servers
• Assist with the application setup, testing or issues remediation
• Troubleshoot and solve basic hardware and software issues

• Work experience in IT or a related field, ideally working within ITIL framework
• Ability to go out of one’s comfort zone in order to achieve set goals and meet critical time deadlines
• Fluent English
• Very good knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7
• Advanced skills in computer hardware, software, networking, peripheral support and maintenance (e.g. laptops, desktops, printers, LAN, WLAN, projectors, monitors, etc.)
• Sufficient knowledge of Windows Server 2003 or higher
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience maintaining SharePoint site considered a big advantage
• Experience supporting Apple mobile devices considered a big advantage
• Familiarity with any of the below technologies considered an advantage:
Microsoft SCCM; Microsoft MDT; Citrix XenApp; Citrix VDI-in-a-Box; VMware vSphere.
