Job Description
As InstaRem global reach is constantly growing, risk of fraud, money laundering attempts and other illegal activity should also be handled carefully. Having the right person in place would help the company to ensure that all the regulatory requirements are met and illegal activity is prevented.
As a European Compliance Officer you will be based in Vilnius and work hand-in-hand with Head of Global Compliance and other members of international team in order to implement multi-jurisdictional compliance frameworks and make sure that regulatory requirements are met. Experience in managing a department, regulators and auditors while maintaining daily system and controls is what company is looking for.
Main responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Team with licensing in all potential regulatory jurisdictions
- Implement and manage AML/TF program in new and existing regulatory jurisdictions
- Liaise with legal advisors, regulators, auditors, top management, Compliance Committee, Head of Global Compliance and other stakeholders
- Internal auditing
- Maintain compliance monitoring program
- Review all current policies and procedures to ensure systems/controls are in place to meet
- regulatory obligations
- Obtain a global training system and manage company obligations
Requirements
- Good knowledge of multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements across Lithuania and Europe
- Experience in implementing AML/TF regulations via internal policies and procedures for Lithuania and Europe
- Experience in directly liaising with and reporting to regulators, auditors, top management and other stakeholders
- Experience in working with client money and net capital flows
- Experience in maintaining compliance monitoring programs
- Team management experience
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Fluent English both written and spoken
