Requirements

The purpose of the position is to oversee the smoothe f&b operation and interact with our guests to ensure that they have an outstanding dining experience. F&B Captain is responsible for running the shift to ensure positive guest interactions, while providing service in a friendly and efficient manner.


Essential Functions
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to the team.
  • Ensure compliance of Nobu standards.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members.
  • To assist in the running of Food & Beverage effectively focusing on speed and consistency of service.
  • To assist the management in attaining and exceeding budget targets by efficient cost control and maximisation of revenue.
  • To assist in the implementation of Nobu Standards of Guest Service, and to actively contribute to continually improve these standards in line with changing expectations.
  • To communicate effectively to Restaurant employees all relevant information to ensure the successful achievement of all Food & Beverage targets.
  • To become familiar with all Company policies, procedures and guidelines, and to implement them in a fair and responsible manner.

Company offers

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required.

Experience:

Prior experience of at least two years in a high profile restaurant required. Prior experience within a five-star hotel brand preferred.

Computer Skill & Other Technical Skills:

Ability to learn and utilize computer software and hardware required. Ability to easily maneuver on computer keyboard required.

Ability to learn, utilize and communicate effectively via company issued communication devices (e.g. Nextel phones, etc).

Communication:

Advanced ability to comprehend and speak English to understand and respond to information and address advanced guest requests required both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of additional language(s) preferred.
