Job Description
- As a Financial controller you will participate in and be responsible for the financial reporting for some of the business units/legal entities within Skandia group.
- Reconciliation of accounts, preparation of monthend closing, VAT and tax reporting, financial reporting including annual/quarterly reports and reporting in Skandias group accounting system according to IFRS.
- You will act as a team support to junior staff in accounting issues and be responsible for the coordination of the financial reporting and communication with the Group Finance team in Stockholm.
- Coordination with external Auditors.
- Identifying areas of improvement and contributing to the success of your team and the company.
Requirements
- Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Team oriented
- Innovative thinking and positive attitude.
- Higher academic/ bachelors degree in finance and accounting
- Demonstrating at least 5 years experience in financial control
- Knowledge in different accounting standards such as IFRS
- Fluency in Swedish or Norwegian (knowledge at least at B1 level)
- Analytical skills
- Excel spreadsheet and data-base analysis experience
- Merit – experience from power-point
