Gardener/ Sodininkas (-ė)

Landscaping, gardening and grounds keeping duties at residences and the US Embassy compound; care and maintenance of plantings in all grounds, lawn care, leaf raking, snow and ice removal, trash removal; maintaining tools and work areas; during winter season, removing ice and snow from walkways, ramps, stairs, roadways and parking areas, utilizing motorized snow-blowers and snow plows and handtools.

EXPERIENCE: 

Two years of experience as gardener or similar work involving general landscaping and gardening duties.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Elementary School is required.  Completion of vocational gardener school or vocational secondary gardener school is required.

LANGUAGE:

Rudimentary working knowledge in spoken English is required. Good working knowledge of Lithuanian (Writing/Speaking/Reading is required). 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must hold a valid driver’s license.
