Currently, the Ingolstadt Village Marketing team is looking to recruit for the following role with the earliest possible start date:

Head Doorman (m/f/d)

 

The Doorman is the welcoming persona, “the face” of Ingolstadt Village at the outdoor desk. The Doorman understands of the guest needs and deliver excellent standards in service and hospitality, making the guest interaction special right from the start and doing their utmost to make all guests feel welcome and cared for.

The Doorman will have a presence in the village that is evident as a source of welcome and assistance to guests, boutiques and staff.

The Doorman will have a warm and approachable demeanour and willingly approach & interact with our guests to welcome, assist, refer and just to chat.

Requirements

The Doorman is responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring their every visit will become a memorable one and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Be present at the main entrances and photo opportunity points, roving leisurely through the village
  • Delivering Customer Shopping Service (Hands free Shopping or e-hands free shopping)
  • Report, follow up and care from the Customer shopping numbers (Hands Free Shopping) to the Line Manager
  • Carrying from Luggage, packages and bags from the guests to their car or coach
  • Support arrival and departures for coaches
  • Assist boutiques, VIP Suite / The Apartment and Guest Services to support the needs of guests and enhance hospitality where required
  • Giving support to the Tourist Information Center
  • Assisting VIP Suite / The Apartment with arrivals, events and the needs of the guests as directed
  • Supporting guests with feedback or complaints and delegating / escalating them appropriately
  • Help identify any key areas of concern during a shift where there might be guest satisfaction issues, such as long queues and maintenance requirements
  • Assist in the placement adjustment of village hosts and hostesses to support the needs of the guest

  • Exemplary success as a Host / Concierge in a luxury environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, delivering with assurance
  • Fluent in German and English and other languages are beneficial
