Head of Application Services Team

My name is Mindaugas Raugalė and I am leading Infrastructure Tools and Apps Division in Telia Lietuva. I am looking for a professional to join my team as Application services Manager. The Team is working with business-critical services like TV – one of the main Telia products and our mission is to ensure the best user experience and service delivered for our customers. Your next challenge?

This is a senior role within our company for a professional who is experienced in owning& managing various IT applications, platforms, projects and people. We will give you clear goals, support, and tools to reach them all.

For the team, the main task is to deliver professional services for our customers. To achieve this, we need to focus on the quality and efficiency of our daily operations within the responsibility scope: applications, middleware, backend platform.

Focus areas are: 

• development of products, services and systems;

• adoption of best practice tools used in supported environments and processes;

• platform life-cycle and inventory management;

• vendor and client relationship management.

As Application services Manager, you will:

• create and implement platforms’ development roadmaps;

• contribute to future development of new services and new platforms;

• lead the team of highly competent administrators and DevOps engineers;

• ensure committed SLAs;

• work closely with various internal operations teams and external partners;

• manage people, balance workloads, control the team’s efficiency.

Who are you?

You are independent, trustworthy team player with IT infrastructure understanding, automation knowledge and strong #Ownership characteristics. You are a person who knows there’s no excuse for unresolved problems, undelivered project tasks, missed availability targets? Do you have a passion for technology and leadership? You have worked as IT manager, Team Lead or Technical Consultant, and you have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and operational practices? I expect you to adhere to the following requirements.

Your experience:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience in managing IT infrastructure, IT services or applications;

• At least 3 years’ experience in managing the team as Team Lead / Team Manager;

• Hands-on practice in various IT areas in release, configuration, automation and delivery activities (Automation, Release management, CI/CD will be considered as an advantage);

• Fluent in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken);

• Fundamentals of ITIL, Agile practice.

We offer a monthly base salary from 3400 to 4700 EUR GROSS plus annual bonuses, depending on your competencies, your and Telia results. Additionally, each Telia Lithuania employee receives additional employee benefits package which includes:
